Movement: tons...he likes to kick me...especially when i'm doing something that requires concentration
Food cravings: still having food aversions...like baked chicken. Had major craving for red meat a few weeks ago...after the drs put me on iron supplements it went away.

Milestones: still having nausea everyday...but i'm not throwing up every day now!
Grant, Indy, Shortie, Buddy and I have been in Hendersonville for the past few weeks. Grant was blessed with a new job that will allow him to work from home...after he completes his training (in hendo). We are excited! This will be/is a major blessing for our family. We have been lucky to visit with both sides of our family, as well as, some of our friends here. But we do miss home. (Indiana has been home sick too! He's been very clingy and cuddly...which has been nice (the cuddly part). And Buddy and Grant's allergies have been driving them crazy. Buddy's would be a little less if he would stop eating the flowers!
Riley has been doing well and should be here in less than 9 weeks. We are excited...but still have tons to do to get ready for him.
Life has been relaxing and busy.

21 weeks...
How far along? 21 weeks
Total weight gain/loss: -16 pounds (due to horrible morning sickness!)
Maternity clothes? Some shirts...but due to weight loss my regular pants are a little big
Stretch marks? Not yet
Sleep: tired alot...sleeping alot
Best moment this week: well last week...finding out we're having a boy!
Movement: tons...he likes to kick me...and he seems more active if i eat fries.
Food cravings: still having a ton of food aversions...but i do like a cheeseburger and fries

Milestones: finding out we're having a son
Alot has happened since the last time I blogged. We had our detailed ultrasound and everything looks great! I've been worried about fluid levels because i've been battling dehydration every day. Last saturday i had to go to the hospital for fluids...the hospital staff were incredibly nice and caring. I felt incredibly great afterwards. And Grant has been wonderful in making sure that i'm eating enough and drinking enough. Our boy is very active and Indiana (one of our cats) has noticed and likes to get on my stomach and purr...or take a nap with his paw on my tummy. Buddy the dog has been great company on the days I don't feel well enough to get out of bed...we both cuddle and watch movies. And little Shortie (our other cat... aka ms. priss) always shows up when we need a smile...she's a happy kitty. God has blessed us tremendously. Well i'm off to take a nap with the Buds.
Oh...and we have a name!

17weeks 5day update!
How far along? 17 weeks 5 day
Total weight gain/loss: -15 pounds (due to horrible morning sickness!)
Maternity clothes? Some shirts...but due to weight loss my regular pants are a little big

Best moment this week: got results back from quad screen...all is good!
Movement: not yet
Food cravings: mainly food aversions right now
Gender prediction: I think a girl...Grant thinks a boy

Milestones: morningsickness is getting a little better
Everything is going well right now...morning sickness is getting a little better...zofran is working well. I actually was hungry the other day...starving. I'm still working on eating a little more each day...doesn't sound hard but it is. Some days are better than others and i'm able to do more around the house. I can't wait until it's tolerable/controlled enough that we can go to church. The animals (Buddy, Indy and Shortie) have been really good and like to take naps with me. They seem to know when i'm having a really bad day and need extra attention from them. Grant has been amazing...he takes care of me...feeds me (aka goes out for food i crave if we don't have it) and has been really supportive. He is the best husby ever and every night i thank God that he gave me Grant.
We're getting really excited in about 2 weeks, we're getting a detailed ultrasound and we will know the sex of the baby...i'm sooo excited! It will be nice to be able to pray for the baby by name.
Grant and I will try to update after the ultrasound!

It's been a while...
So...It's been a while since our last update.
The summer is going by so fast... we've settled into our new home in Abingdon, VA. We love it here. Our home is larger than our last apartment, which has been wonderful...we now have room for our stuff! We are no longer crowded and surrounded by 50 bazillion things. The animals looove all the room we have (our downstairs is an open floor plan)...they are constantly chasing each other. Buddy has learned that he must have permission to go upstairs (so we have no accidents in the house). And Indy has been enjoying the glass sliding door...he loves basking in the sun and watching the birds/squirrels/etc in the backyard.
Grant is working as a computer programmer and is enjoying it. We have a couple of friends from college and grad school that got jobs at his company. It's been great having old friends up here. (the guys are currently playing poker downstairs).
I'm not working...and enjoying every minute of it. I've actually have had time to cook and really enjoy it...and my house is clean! It's been great to be able to stay home with the animals and take care of the house. Plus I am able to go to the library more. Life has been relaxing and stress free!

Virginia...
Quick update...
We moved to VA and love it here. We have only a few boxes left to unpack and we've just been enjoying the time we have together until Grant starts work. The animals love our new place...lots of room to run around. Well i'm off to make dinner. One of us will have a longer update later!
